This website is dedicated to Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) technology. RTI uses multiple images to capture the reflectance properties of a given surface. Multiple captures are combined in order to produce interactive, relit records of the material sampled. Cultural heritage examples of the technology include work on cuneiform tablets, numismatic archives, manuscripts, rock art and lithic artefacts.

This Website will provide information about how to implement and use RTI technology with examples of case studies. It was set up and maintained by ACRG and ECS in the University of Southampton.
